In recent days, a tragic incident occurred at a beauty clinic where a 27-year-old woman died during a liposuction treatment due to the clinic's negligence, leading to her body being disposed of.
The news of the tragic death of Ma Zarchi Oo, who died due to the negligence of a beauty clinic and whose body was disposed of in an area outside Yangon, shocked the public and sparked widespread outrage. It also quickly became a trending topic on social media. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
A 27-year-old woman named Ma Zarchi Oo, who resided in Yangon, went missing on the evening of December 27th, around 4 pm. After an extensive search, her body was discovered on January 2, seven days later, in the Dagon Seikkan township area of Yangon.
According to local news reports, following the tragic death of Ma Zarchi Oo, the owner of IRIS Beauty Clinic, where the incident occurred, is currently reported to be on the run.
In addition, according to police sources, the police force is conducting an investigation regarding the death of Ma Zarchi Oo. However, no detailed information or official statements have been released concerning the case at this time.
A medical expert stated to the Statesman Journal that incidents like the one mentioned above occur due to the lack of proper certification for some medicines used in certain beauty clinics within the country, as well as the unawareness of treatment seekers regarding the potential side effects of these medicines. –
