Myanmar's election schedules for December 2025 or January 2026, says SAC Chairman

Myanmar's election is scheduled to be held in December this year or January next year, according to Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC).
He made this announcement at a joint press conference after meeting with Belarusian President Lukashenko.
After the friendship visit to Russia at the invitation of President Mr. Putin, he continued to visit Belarus at the invitation of President Lukashenko and held a meeting with the President of Belarus at the Presidential Palace on March 7.
"We declared a state of emergency in our country because of the vote fraud and took temporary responsibility. Elections will be held in accordance with the law soon. I would like to say that free and fair elections are planned to be held in December 2025 or January 2026 at the earliest," the SAC chairman said at a press conference.
The SAC Chairman of invited the observed groups from Belarus to visit and observe the status of party registration regarding the Myanmar election. –
