Myanmar-Russia Business Forum held in Moscow

The Myanmar-Russia Business Forum was held on March 5 at the Radisson Hotel, Conference Hall, Moscow, Russia. At the opening of the Myanmar-Russia Business Forum, Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, and the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation delivered opening remarks.
At the Myanmar-Russia Business Forum, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) Chairman U Aye Win spoke about Myanmar's business situation.
Then, UMFCCI Secretary General Daw Khine Khine Nwe explained issues related to the garment industry in Myanmar, U Mya Han (UMFCCI) explained issues related to livestock and fisheries, U Nyi Nyi Lwin (UMFCCI) explained issues related to gemstones, and MAI Chairman U Aung Zaw Zaw explained issues related to tourism.
Chairman of the State Administration Council, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended and delivered a speech to the forum.
The Russian CCI, Moscow CCI and the Myanmar UMFCCI met to discuss mutual economic cooperation on March 4.
They believe that the opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large sectors of the two countries can be shared and worked on step by step.
The Myanmar-Russia Business Forum was jointly organized by the Embassy of Myanmar in the Russian Federation, UMFCCI and Myanmar Airways International (MAI), along with Roscongress Foundation, Fund RC-Investments, Russia-ASEAN Business Council and Russia-Myanmar Business Council.
