A civilian killed by PDFs in Wetlet, Sagaing

It is reported that armed PDF members forcibly entered a house and stabbed the male homeowner to death in Hlataw village, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region.
On July 13, at around 12:00 midnight, a house in Hlataw village, Wetlet Township was robbed by about 11 members of the PDF militant group.
It has been reported that the 11 armed PDF members gathered at a restaurant in Wetlet Township around 6 pm on July 13 to eat and drink together. They then carried out the armed robbery around midnight, returned to the same restaurant to eat again, and around 4 am, they divided the money they had taken before dispersing.
The house that was robbed contained a family of six people. The man who was stabbed to death by the militant PDF members was the head of the family, aged 30, and the robbery resulted in the loss of over 60 million kyats. Reports also suggest that the committed PDFs are: two from Meiktila, two from Ayadaw, two from Thakhutaw village in Wetlet Township, as well as two female PDF members.
