An eight-month-old infant died as collateral damage in terror shooting

Reports say an eight-month-old child was shot in the head by the #terrorists though they targeted the village administrator in the terror shooting.

The incident happened on January 17 at an estimated 11 pm near the betel shop located in Ywar Thar Yar village, Htantabin township in Taungoo District, Bago region.

A source from the village recounted to NP News that the gunmen shot the ex-administrator of Chaung Wa village tract and the current administrator Soe Naing. Both died on the spot.

During the terror shooting, the eight-month-old child was hit with a gunshot in the head, a family member of the child confirmed NP News.

The child’s family recently moved to that village as Ywar Thar Yar village was used to be peaceful. The happened terror incident escalates fear among the villagers.

As per reports, terror incidents of killing ward and village administrators are increasing across the country these days.
