150,000 visitors entered Bagan and beaches within Thingyan Holiday

The State Administration Council’s Information Team released a statistic that approximately 150000 visitors of both locals and foreigners visited Bagan, Chaung Thar, Ngwe Saung and Ngapali beaches within Myanmar Thingyan Water Festival.

During 8th to 17th April Thingyan Holiday, altogether 45,854 local visitors and 439 foreigners paid a visit at the Bagan Archaeological Site.

40,243 local visitors and 151 foreigners visited Chaung Tha Beach and 33,324 local visitors and 945 foreigners visited the Ngwe Saung Beach within Thingyan Holiday, as per information.

To Ngapali Beach, altogether 28,002 local people and 803 foreigners paid visit there and enjoyed their time.

Therefore, according to SAC data, altogether 149,761 paid a visit to Bagan, Chaung Tha, Ngwe Saung and Ngapali Beaches and Bagan Archaeological Site, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Myanmar.
