Mocha Moving Towards Sagaing, Mandalay, Kachin, Shan Coded Brown Stage By DMH

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology updated and announced that the Cyclonic Storm Mocha is continuing moving towards Sagaing, Mandalay, Kachin and Shan; and it is coded brown stage.
The DMH announced it today (May 15) at 7:00 am.
It is reported that the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Mocha crossed over Rakhine State yesterday and it moved towards Chin State in late night.
At the time being, it decreases from the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm to Cyclonic Storm and continues moving towards Sagaing Region crossing near Katha City.
The DMH announced that the maximum wind speed may reach 40 mph in Sagaing, Mandalay, Kachin and Shan.
The Cyclonic Storm Mocha is gradually weakening in next six hours and transforming into an inland storm in Kachin State. Rakhine and Chin states are coded Green Stage at present by the DMH.
