The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) influenced by the West ideology, partnership with an INGO named ‘Solar Power Myanmar’, now stepping into Myanmar’s next developing solar sector which is a reliant area for the country’s businesses in solving electricity shortage.

Such entering of west entities in the developing countries, needless to say, ultimately intends to pour the west’s phenomenon in departmental officers and bureaucrats who play key roles in developing policies in the related sectors.

West entities’ such intended manipulations are going through the targeted least developing countries via the following lip services as providing financial aid, technological assistance, sharing knowledge or last but not least, convening workshops or seminars among with the host nation’s bureaucrats.

Now, the GEAPP said it will invest 60 million USD for the development of 100 new solar projects across Myanmar with supporting clean energy and renewable source of energy.

When saying about the renewable and clean energy loudly, the United States generates approximately 110 million tons of adverse stuff by the coal plants in generating electricity. Such produced massive stuff frequently leads to natural disasters like flood or acid rain.

As a matter of fact, the United States generates electricity 30 percent from coal and 20 percent is from nuclear based while the US is advocating for reducing greenhouse gas and expressing worries for side effects of the nuclear usage.

It is learnt that the combustion of coal is the largest contributor to the human-made increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

The US’ solar energy electrification shares only one percent of total electrification.

By contrast, Myanmar’s two territorially connected neighbours – India and China – sit three and four respectively in top ten largest solar farms in the world. The remaining three others are shared one by Egypt and two by UAE.

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet is an alliance of, as per its expression, philanthropy, governments, technology, policy, and financing partners. The alliance aims to reduce carbon emissions and expand clean energy.

Smart Power Myanmar is mainly supported by The Rockefeller Foundation (an American foundation) and the GEAPP.
