Myanmar and Hong Kong Special Administration Region of People’s Republic of China have signed agreement to fly passenger flights interchangeably.

The agreement was signed on 28th September in Hong Kong at central government office by Myanmar’s deputy minister for transportation and communications Aung Kyaw Tun and Hong Kong Special Region Transportation Minister, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.

As per the agreement, not only passenger flights, but also cargo freights will also be run between Myanmar and Hong Kong.

The move was made after discussion between Myanmar and Hong Kong in May this year to promote market opportunities and trade.
