Some ethnic armed organizations have been widely portraying terrorist acts, according to the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Senior General made a speech during the meeting with 39 political parties held on December 6 at the office of SAC Chairman in Naypyidaw.

He remarked that emergence of armed conflicts within the State is resulted from choosing terrorist means instead of the political means in resolving the political dilemma. On the other side, some EAOs earn benefits from those conflicts and therefore, conducting the terrorist acts widely, he added.

Those EAOs such as MNDAA, TNLA, AA, KNU, KIA, CNF, KNPP and PDF are creating clashes in some parts of the country, and thousands of people have displaced due to those clashes.

The SAC’s Chairman called for unity among the whole public so as to maintain peace and stability in the country.
