Tatmadaw with PNO combat terrorists gaining full control in Hsihseng

Tatmadaw collaborated with Pa-O National Organization (PNO) and combated allied terrorist group of PNLO, KNDF and PDF in Hsihseng Township gaining full power on the township.
Since 24 January 2024, the allied terrorist groups continuously created clashes in mentioned township in southern Shan State. Therefore, Tatmadaw and the PNO have been cooperating and combating those allied terrorist groups since 24 March, according to an official from the PNO.
The PNO official said, “We have been defending the city since 24 March which observed as Pa-O National Day in collaboration with Tatmadaw starting from Maenaetaung. At first, they started setting arson on villages for about three to four hours. They retreated without facing with us. We accelerated the defending battles and now, the city is clear from insurgents.”
In the clashes, the enemy side suffered a lot and totally retreated. Therefore, Tatmadaw regained the full power on Hsihseng Twonship after 32 days of clashes.
However, the clashes left casualties and destructions. The relevant departments, regional government, officials from Tatmadaw, society associations and organizations are processing and donating for the resettlement and rehabilitations, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
