2nd Intake of People Military Services to commence in May

The military training for the Intake 2 will be commenced in May, according to an officer from the Central Body for Summoning People’s Military Servants. The State Administration Council (SAC) started the military training on 8 April after enforcing the People’s Military Service Law.
At present, the Central Body for Summoning People’s Military Servants is processing the medical test on individuals for the next intake.
Intake 1 was opened on 8 April at various regional military headquarters in states and regions, and volunteers joined the training for military education, according to the SAC.
The SAC government led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing announced the implementation of the militia conscription Law enacted by former Senior General Than Shwe in 2010.
According to the SAC, around 5,000 trainees will be accepted monthly for the military training course.
