Missing teachers from Rakhine released

The two teachers who were kidnapped in Maungdaw, Rakhine State were released today (June 23) on the eighth day of their missing.
A headmaster and a school teacher from Thinbawhla Village, Maungdaw, Rakhine State have been missing since June 16. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
“Currently they are safe together with Rakhine community in Bangladesh. They’ve got contact with their families. They will be coming back to Rakhine as soon as possible,” a source said.
The Rakhine community had too much concerns on missing of the headmaster Bo Win and primary teacher Ohnmar Kyaw in recent days. The two teachers were kidnapped while they were heading to Maungdaw Township's education office at an estimated 1 pm on June 16.
Cause of the kidnap is still unclear and no claim of responsibility yet.
