NUG-affiliated private school principal arrested at cathouse

The school principal and his two colleagues of ‘Kaung for you Federal Private School’ which is affiliated with the exile NUG were arrested by authorities at a brothel located in Aungban, Shan State, according to the statement by State Administration Council on July 16.
The principal name is Kaung Thike Soe.
According to his confession statements, the ‘Kaung for you Federal Private School’ team was established in the first week of April 2022 as a directive by the NUG. The team was primarily organized by 12 members and planned to recruit approximately 400 CDM teachers. The team processed online registration for students illegally. Many online groups via Zoom, Facebook, Telegram, Signal, Gmail, and Messenger were created by the team to deceive its clients (parents and students) to conduct online education, as expressed by the statement.
The registration fee was MMK 10,000 for a student which was demanded by the federal private school to pay the teacher salary.
Kaung Thike Soe (32yrs) is a CDM assistant education officer at Kume from Myittha Township. He led demonstrations in Myittha in February 2021.
Kaung Thike Soe and two pals, known as Win Bo (28yrs) – a CDM primary school teacher, and Thant Sin Htike (28yrs) – a CDM primary school teacher, were arrested at a whorehouse located in Hleyoe Ward, Aungban, Southern Shan State during the security forces raid. As a matter of fact, the authorities seized them while they were entertaining together with prostitutes, the statement said.
In recent weeks, parents and students were blackmailed by unknown phone numbers. But the blackmails said they are from ‘Kaung for you’. Private information of students and parents were disclosed. This whistleblowing increasingly threatened its clients.
Since recent days, the CDM teachers who are reportedly working under the NUG-affiliated schools have been investigated by the authorities as a following clue of ‘Kaung for you’ confess.
