Newly established 46 districts reinforced with 7,600 police forces

More than 7,600 police forces were added in the reinforcement of restructuring the police stations for recently established 46 districts, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

State Administration Council recently extended to 121 districts from previously 75 districts nationwide.

The Union Government has granted to conduct reorganizing the police departments from the newly established 46 districts.

There are 322 police officers and 7314 police forces, altogether with 7,636 in the reinforcement.

Chief Justice of the Union Supreme Court Tun Tun Oo told that courts will also be expanded at district level for new 46 district.
