SAC Chair urges for soonest return of budget surplus, to monitor for less wasting

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) urged for the soonest return of National #Budget that couldn’t spent on full-scale till the end of the financial year and to monitor and supervise on the effective use of the country’s budget.
Senior General #Min_Aung_Hlaing addressed it during the financial coordination meeting held in Naypyidaw on 24 November.
During 2022-2023 FY, he also urged for the effective use of the allotted supplementary appropriation asked by the ministries and other governmental bodies; and timely completion of the proposed projects.
Supplementary appropriations are usually requested by the states/regions to their needs.
The SAC also announced that plans are ongoing for the ratification and drafting the bill of the Union Supplementary Appropriation Act within a short period.
