The related bodies and departments are conducting the processes in which the citizens who will be 18 years of age by the end of December 2023 in states and regions are expected to be able to vote in the upcoming election, said the Union Minister for the Ministry of Immigration and Population Myint Kyaing.
The Union Minister underlined it during the coordination meeting on operations for #Pankhin_project phase 2 that was held in Naypyidaw on December 2.

Phase 2 of the Pankhin project has been carried out from August 1, 2022 and is expected to finish on December 31, 2023.
Phase 2 is projected to issue citizenship cards to more than 1.7 million people.
