Khit (NP News) – Dec 9

Seven ethnic armed forces including RCSS, PNLO, ALP, DKBA, KNU/KBLA PC, LDU, and NMSP which signed the #NCA and also attended the peace talks in 2022 now demanded to hold an informal meeting with the #NSPNC (National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee) to push the #peace_process with velocity.

The leaders of the abovementioned seven #EAOs invited to hold an informal meeting all together with the NSPNC for peace.

They intend to build a sustainable and long-lasting peace based on the values that are commonly accepted by both sides; and desire to sign covenants by both parties within December.

Spokesperson from seven EAOs Colonel Saw Kyaw Nyunt remarked that the NSPNC has signaled a constructive comment on the invitation.

He said, “We observe that the NSPNC’s response to our demands seems constructive.”

The Colonel added that the seven EAOs desired to formulate the peace not individually but altogether as a Union movement expecting the well-being of the whole Union by all inclusively.

They proposed to convene the informal meeting with the NSPNC in Chiang Mai, Thailand on coming December 12.
