Myanmar, Russia increases navy collaborations

The Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung received and discussed with Vice Admiral of the Russian Federation Igor MUKHAMETSHIN at #Ayarwaddy_Naval_Base on December 25 morning for uplifting bilateral Navy cooperation, according to the information released by the State Administration Council.
Study and visit of the warships; sending apprentices from #Myanmar_Navy, and other collaboration steps were discussed.
Vice Admiral Igor MUKHAMETSHIN of the Russian Federation attended the 75th Anniversary ceremony of the Myanmar Navy on December 24.
The Myanmar Navy is projected to build and upgrade to have the capability of operating globally across the deep waters of open oceans after it has been fully developed into a ‘Three-Dimensional Combat Ready Navy’.
