SAC approves additional budgets for public sectors

The State Administration Council allowed more than one thousand billion kyats for ministries and departments for 2022-23 FY as per the #Union_Supplementary_Appropriation_Law.
The SAC, under the law, approved a total of 1,107,331.393 million kyats.
In the additional budget, it allows 440,209.228 million kyats for the Defence Ministry involving 258,799.751 million kyats for current expenditures; 171.317 million kyats for repay for interests; 180,088.447 million kyats for capital expenditures; and 1,149.713 million kyats for repay for loans.
The budget also involves more than 330 million kyats for the Ministry of Planning and Finance.
Other budgets include supplements for the governments of Kachin, Rakhine, Shan states, and Yangon and Ayeyarwady regions.
