Pre-construction survey to be conducted in Block A3

Department of Fisheries issued a navigational warning on recent day that shipping lanes are expected to be affected in Rakhine coastal line from June 1 to July 31 since the pre-construction survey will be carried out in Block A3.
The department prohibits passing of vessels within four kilometers centered to the construction area.
The pre-construction survey projects will be carried out with M.V Fugro Equator survey vessel as per Phase 4 Development of Shwe Project.
The foreign companies that made investments in the related project will take part in execution of the pre-construction survey within the determined coordinates and therefore, the Department of Fisheries announced prohibition of passing vessels, ships, fishing boats, and dropping fishing equipment within the mentioned area.
