Myanmar, Russia potentially sign MoU for sending workers from Myanmar

Russia is willing to call Myanmar workers and therefore, there are potentials to sign Memorandum of Understanding to send Myanmar workers to Russia, according to information from foreign employment agencies.
Union Minister for Labour Myint Naung is reportedly seeking to expand external market and Russia is one of the targeted countries to send Myanmar workers, as per information.
According to a reliable source from the ministry, Russia wants to call Myanmar workers to employ them in its construction sites and dockyards.
At present, Myanmar nationals mostly go to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Japan and Middle East countries for employment opportunities.
