Myanmar, Nepal discuss for implementation of MoU on tourism cooperation

As per information from the State Administration Council, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism and Nepalese ambassador to Myanmar discussed to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in tourism sector between the two countries.

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khine met with the Nepalese ambassador H.E. Mr. Harishchandra Ghimire on 16th Oct in Naypyidaw.

During their talk, both discussed matters related to tourism conditions in Lumbini in Nepal, running direct flights between the two countries, e-visa system practicing in Nepal, and promoting cooperation in tourism sectors.

The Union Minister urged to implement the terms involved in the MoU on cooperation in tourism sector including exchanging cultures, and air transportation.

They discussed to run charter flights for the pilgrims to Bodh Gaya, Lumbini and other religious tour destinations; and plans for collaboration with private airlines.
