Two mobile lab donated by China to be placed at border gates for boosting border trade

China donated Covid-19 prevention kits, vaccine vials, and related pharmaceuticals to Myanmar and transferred them on May 29 to Myanmar. Products include ten million Sinopharm vials, 13 million vaccination syringes, and two mobile laboratory vehicles.
Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Chen Hai told that China will continue its coordination with Myanmar in implementing Covid-19 preventive measures in border areas, providing services for improving the border trade and for the stability of bilateral economic integration and people’s life.
The Ambassador added that this donation is a critical contribution to China’s support to Myanmar to fight against Covid-19.
The Union Minister of Health Ministry Dr. Thet Khaing Win said, “The two mobile laboratory vehicles will be used mainly in border-crossing gates so that commodity flow will be enhanced and it will be very effective for the re-development of the border trade.”
Since the outbreak of the Covid19 Pandemic, China has been supporting many vaccine vials and liquid oxygen to Myanmar by implementing the “China-ASEAN Health Shield” cooperation proposed by China’s President Xi Jinping. China helps Myanmar in promoting vaccination processes by filling and manufacturing the vaccine ampoules.”
This time donated vaccines will be vaccinated to children. China supported a total of 51.19 million vaccine vials till now amounting to 67.4 percent of total vaccines received by Myanmar from international aid.
