Five people’s militias were shot dead on June 27 in Asin Village, Ye Township in Mon State, according to a local.
Four men came to the outpost located at the edge of the village’s bridge with motorbikes, then shot.
Shooting left five members of the people’s militia named Than Htay, Tin Oo, Ko Ko Lay, Min Min, and Myint Soe dead from gun injuries in the heads.
Shooters took guns and bullets from the victims, according to the source.
