Cell towers in Maubin and Chanmyatharzi sabotaged

The cell sites from Maubin in Ayeyawady Region and Chanmyatharzi in Mandalay Region were exploded and destroyed by terrorists, according to Myanmar Police Forces.
On July 14, terrorists trespassed into the compound located in Nyaungwyne Village, Maubin where the MPT cell tower is developed and destroyed it.
Two 5000W 48v battery boxes were destroyed in the attack. Phone lines were off as the result.
On the same day, Mytel tower was attacked with grenades in Thanlyatmawtaung Ward located in Chanmyatharzi Township, Mandalay, according to the police.
Two men with motorbike threw a 91 type China-made grenade to the tower and run.
No causality occurred in the attacks, as per the police statement.
