Two killed, two injured in wrongful attack against vehicle on Monywa-Mandalay Road

A passenger vehicle was blown-up in the gunfire and bomb attack on Monywa-Mandalay Road in which two were killed and two were injured, according to the Myanmar Police Forces (MPF).
The attack was reportedly wrongfully committed by terrorists.
The incident took place on July 15 at an estimated 11am. The vehicle carried four passengers and departed from Mandalay.
When the vehicle arrived at Milepost No. 57, 20 terrorists attacked the car with three grenades; and fired with guns, according to the MPF. Then, the terrorists checked the vehicle and reportedly said that they shot the wrong target.
Two survived with serious injuries, according to the police.
Wai Phyo Aung and his sister Kyi Phyu Win dead on the crime scene.
