22 political parties condemn allegation of Malaysian FM

22 local political parties including Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) released a joint statement on August 14 which denounces the allegation lashed out by the Malaysian foreign minister Saifuddin Abdulla on Myanmar.
The Malaysian foreign minister accused Myanmar of failing to coordinate in ASEAN humanitarian assistance during the press talk held after the ASEAN Day commemorating event on 8th August 2022, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and at the press conference held in Bangkok, Thailand on 10th August.
It is encouraging the country’s instability and the terror acts happening in Myanmar, the joint statement expresses referring to what the Malaysian FM said, adding that his act is interfering with the internal affairs of a sovereign nation.
“Any form of an allegation that is deteriorating Myanmar’s national reconciliation should be avoided,” the joint statement said.
