117 Bengali aliens seized in Yangon

A total of 117 Bengalis, 82 males and 35 females of illegal immigrants, were seized by the authorities at a house located in East Dagon township in Yangon.
Authorities and security forces inspected the residential address No. 50, Ayeyarwady Street, 10 Ward in East Dagon on 20th October, according to a source. Three males and one female Myanmar national were also arrested together with the aliens for assisting the illegal aliens in entering the country.
“Those aliens (Bengalis) entered Myanmar through Rakhine. Altogether 121 Bengalis and abettors were seized. Currently, they are under investigation to file cases under the immigration law,” a source close to the security forces told NP News.
