Bridge in Bago which crosses Thingantone creek sabotaged

The State Administration Council (SAC) released the news that the Thingantone creek crossing bridge in Htantabin township in Bago Region was exploded in recent days.

The SAC released this announcement on 26th October.

The terrorists planted a mine on the Thingantone creek crossing bridge that is located on the Kywaepwae-Zayetgyi highway approximately 100 meters far east of Phatwinnkone Village and exploded it at an estimated 6:15 am on 26th October, according to the statement.

Because of the explosion, the 105 feet long and 14 feet wide reinforced concrete bridge was damaged and the middle part of the ThinnGannTone creek crossing bridge collapsed.

Currently, vehicles cannot pass on the collapsed bridge and so the responsible personnel are undertaking to reconstruct the damaged parts as fast as possible.
