A man carrying a hand-made mine died on his own plot in Ye-U

Myanmar Police Force released the news that a man died in the blast of a hand-made mine that he carried on his motorbike intending to commit a sabotage plot in Ye-U township in Sagaing Region.
The explosion took place at the traffic lights in a residential ward located in Ye-U township, Sagaing Region at an estimated 6:30 pm on 29th October.
The man was identified as the residence Aung Myo Win, 39. He carried a hand-made mine on his motorbike to commit a sabotage task. The bomb blasted from the motorbike toolbox when he got to his targeted spot before he detonated, according to the police.
He died on the spot in the explosion. The crime scene was cleaned by the security forces, the police statement said.
