Terrorists attack prisoner transport vehicle with grenade in Mandalay

The prisoner transport vehicle which was heading to Chanmyatharzi Court from Ohbo Prison in #Mandalay was attacked by two terrorists with grenade/s yesterday morning at an estimated 10 am at the junction between 78th street and 41st street, according to Mandalay residents.
Two #terrorists threw grenade/s at the prisoner transport vehicle during the red light at the traffic junction.
“We heard a sound of explosion first of all; then, we heard shooting and cross-firing. Some say the prisoner transport vehicle was shot. Then, the security forces blocked the area and conducted an inspection,” a Mandalay resident told NP News.
It is reported that three police were wounded in the incident.
Similarly, yesterday morning, a vehicle that was going on patrol around 12th street and 88th street in Aungmyaytharzan, Mandalay was attacked by mine.
