Myanmar authorities pay much attention to National Single Window System

The necessary budget for the implementation of the #National_Single_Window_System (NSWS) will be presented to the State Administration Council (SAC) for ensuring the accomplishment of formulating the NSWS in Myanmar.
The NSWS will be executed following the appendix of the amendments of the Kyoto Protocol by the World Customs Organization and World Trade Organization and the ASEAN’s trade agreements, said the Union Minister for Planning and Finance Win Shein.
He addressed it during the Coordination Meeting held at the Ministerial office in Naypyidaw on 25 November.
The NSWS is carried out for smoother access in international trading and with the ASEAN. The major function of this system is expected to save time and cost in trading processes and product declarations to reduce the transitional costs, the Union Minister added.
It is reported that a steering committee for implementing the National Single Window was formed under Order Number 177/2022 on 8 October.
