Shootings occur in Sagaing’s Tigyaing between KIA/PDF, Tatmadaw

Fire exchanging occurred between State armed forces ‘Tatmadaw’ and the joint forces of #KIA and #terrorist #PDFs in #Sagaing Region’s Tigyaing township on November 27 and 26.

Authorities were secretly informed by the residents that terrorists were committing terror acts and hiding in Ingyin village, Tigyaing, Sagaing region were informed by the villagers who are unbearable the terror acts, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council (SAC).

The SAC released the statement on November 28.

Therefore, the counter-terrorism teams conducted military operations in Ingyin village on November 27 at 8:50 am and the joint insurgent groups opened fire and the clashes occurred. The insurgents set ablaze the houses while retreating to the northwest of the village, the statement said.

Similarly, on November 26, the terrorist PDFs reached out at an estimated 6 am to Sue Pout Chaung village entering from the southwest and threatening the villagers to gather and started burning down the houses in the village. A total of 40 houses, 6 tractors, a one-grain thresher, 20 motorbikes, 2 generators and lots of crops were destroyed in the arson, stated by the statement.

The State Administration Council (SAC) released a statement on November 28 that lots of people were unroofed due to the arson by the joint insurgent groups, KIA and PDF.

The statement said that the insurgent groups PDFs led by NUG and CRPH intended to disturb the state peace and stability and law enforcement also destroying by arson to Office buildings, Schools, houses, and bridges and exploding mines in villages and townships committing terror acts.

The State Administration Council stated that a total of 248 houses in Sagaing region, 28 houses in Magway region, 220 in Chin State and 30 in Kachin State were ashed down by the KIA and PDF without any reasons, within 2022.

People were unroofed and sheltered at the monasteries and, some of them, at the nearest relative’s homes.
