Over 100 undocumented Bengalis heading to Malaysia arrested in Yangon

More than 100 #Bengali aliens who do not have documents were arrested in Yangon in recent days. They arrived in Yangon transited from Rakhine State and they were planning to work in Malaysia via agents.
According to the resource, nearly 70 undocumented Bengalis were arrested near Nyaung Nhna Pin Industrial Zone located in Hlegu township, Yangon Region on November 27.
It is reported that a ten-wheeled truck overturned near Nyaung Nhna Pin Industrial Zone. Upon investigation, it was found out that 54 male Bengalis and 14 female Bengalis were on that vehicle. These Bengalis were conducted necessary investigations at the Hlegu Police Station.
These undocumented Bengalis have arrived Yangon through Rakhine State and they have plans to go to Malaysia. NP News resource also said that these Bengalis have to pay nearly 100 lakhs, equivalent of 3,500 USD, to their agent each.
“Similarly, another 30 undocumented Bengalis were arrested at Shwe Pyi Thar township in Rakhine State. These Bengalis arrived in Yangon through Rakhine State which is a border area of Bangladesh.” he continued.
According to the investigation, these undocumented Bengalis arrived to Yangon in order to become migrant workers in Malaysia. These Bengalis have to pay load of agent fees to get to Yangon.
