Deputy Army Chief highlights power states’ proxy colonization

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Vice-Senior General Soe Win underlined the #multi_dimensional_warfare formulated in modern global politics, especially by the power states, via #proxy situations.
“In today's era, the superpower countries are making nations the colonies not by launching an aggressive war but by the Multi-dimensional Warfare taking interventions in different courses: political interventions, trade interventions, social and ideological interventions, or via #propaganda_networks, and even diplomatic interventions,” Vice-Senior General Soe Win said.
He addressed it during his speech at the graduation parade of the 24th Intake of the Defense Services Technological Academy (DSTA) in Pyin-Oo-Lwin on December 12.
Additionally, the Deputy CIC highlighted the importance of information and electronic technology; and therefore, necessary to upgrade them.
The world is encountering challenges and threats in the hectic and volatile digital information era, said Vice-Senior General Soe Win continuing that the developing countries are establishing an advanced technology-based military in an aspect of national security.
