The armed conflicts are still emerging within the country and the country has not attained peace and stability in spite of her #diamond_jubilee_independence, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General #Min_Aung_Hlaing said.
Senior General addressed it during the meeting with officers, other ranks, and their family members from the Northern Region Command of the Military in Kachin State on December 13.
During the meeting, he addressed that the country was being colonized by the #British_Colony and their divide-and-rule policy has left continual armed conflicts between ethnic armed organizations throughout these years.
“For this upcoming year, Myanmar’s Independence will reach her diamond jubilee. Unfortunately, the armed conflicts are still ongoing within the country and nationwide peace cannot be attained yet.” Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said.
He continued by saying that the military won’t be derailing from the path to establish a genuine and disciplined democratic country.
Currently, armed conflicts are happening between the Military and KNU, KIA, TNLA, and MNDAA.
