CIC’s message to Rakhine State Day highlights regional development

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) as well as the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing sent message for the 48th Anniversary of #Rakhine_State_Day, that falls on December 15, in which he zoomed in the Country’s steadfast effort for the development of Rakhine State.

Situated in the faraway with difficult transportation channels, the region develops relatively least comparing to other states and regions, he remarks adding that the armed conflicts occurred within the territory as an adverse effect of political and ethnic affairs, which in turns, makes the region with delay in development.

Now, the State is prioritizing for the regional development of Rakhine State after overcoming politically clashes, Senior General underlined in the message.

At present, the SAC signed covenant with Arakan Liberation Party at the regional level during the peace talks.

He also highlighted not to derail from the path of Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement frame for the ultimate Union peace.

The Myanmar Military and Rakhine armed force #Arakan_Army resumed fire exchange in August 2022; after four months of armed conflicts in Rakhine State, both parties agreed to cease firing informally.

The Myanmar Military’s Navy participated in the International Fleet Review 2022 which was hosted by Bangladesh Navy last week.

The Bangladesh border forces recently agreed to cooperate with the Home Affairs of Myanmar to suppress the rebels sheltering on its borderline against the Myanmar Government.
