Mingalardon Air Base attacked by launcher; fences damaged

Three 107 MM rockets landed in the #Mingalardon_Air_Base in Yangon; two exploded near the base’s fence and one exploded outside.
The attack was launched on December 16 at an estimated 9 pm, in which, fences were damaged with no casualty.
“Two landed near the fence of the Avenue of the Mingalardon Air Base. Another one landed outside the compound. Altogether three rockets exploded. No one was harmed. Small parts of the fence were damaged,” a source close to the security forces recounted NP News.
In April 2022, terrorists fired at the Mingalardon Air Base with rockets but landed in Myakanthar Golf Center in Insein Township killing a female civilian.
In July 2022, Moe Kaung Treasure Child and Maternal Hospital located in Yangon’s Yankin Township was also attacked by a rocket launcher by the #terrorists.
