Electrification project for Korea-Myanmar Industrial Complex expected to implement soon

The electrification project for the external infrastructure of the #Korea_Myanmar_Industrial_Complex (KMIC) is expected to be implemented soon with an estimated construction budget of over 60 million USD.
The KMIC was reportedly started in 2020.
Currently, an initiative project management team has been formed by the Ministry of Construction to formulated the abovementioned project outside the KMIC zone; in which road construction, water supply and electrification works involve.
According to the Ministry, the abovementioned project will be implemented with 61.816 million USD EDCF loan assistance from the Korea Exim Bank in Korea.
In addition, the initiative project management team is tasked for planning, reviewing and approving decisions on what the contractors proposed.
The Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) including the Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) or Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) are involved to implement; as well as environmental and social impacts and the implementation of the ESMP will be monitored by the management team.
The KMIC is located in in Hlegu Township, Yangon near the airport, expressway and port which could help the country's development.
