Myanmar Commander-in-Chief meets Chief of Thai Defence Forces in Rakhine before 8th HLC meeting

The Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services of Myanmar Senior General #Min_Aung_Hlaing and the Chief of Defence Forces of Thailand General #Chalermphon_Srisawasdi met at Jasmine Hotel in Thandwe, Rakhine State on January 19 evening, according to the press statement released by the State Administration Council (SAC).
The Myanmar CIC welcomed the Thai counterpart with the grand dinner, as per the information.
The #8th_High_Level_Committee Meeting between Myanmar and Thai armed forces will be hosted by Myanmar. The HLC meeting between the armed forces of the two nations started in 2013 for military ties.
The 7th HLC was held in 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
