Myanmar-China electric power system interconnection project to be implemented

According to the Committee of #China_Myanmar_Economic_Corridor Implementation, the China-Myanmar Electric Power system interconnection project will be implemented. The committee has formed an energy cooperation working group to carry out the project.
The Energy Cooperation Working Group will be chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy.
The Committee assigned the working group to cooperate with relevant departments in generating and delivering electricity, and oil and gas.
What is more, the working group is also responsible to cooperate in the necessary projects that will be developed in electricity and energy sectors as part of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.
The State Administration Council (SAC) formed the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor Implementation Committee by several ministers to have effective implementation.
The committee also has to carry out necessary researches on the two countries' economic development projects that will be mutually benefited and to the exchange experiences.
At present, China made largest investments in Myanmar, especially in the electricity sector.
