Putin remarks Russia - Myanmar bilateral tie to upkeep Asia-Pacific security

President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin said in his letter to Myanmar honoring the 75th Diamond Jubilee of diplomatic relations between the two nations that the relationship between Russia and Myanmar has been growing and improving.

As per the statement released by the State Administration Council (SAC), the Russian President reportedly highlighted the two nations’ constructive bilateral tie is believed to be the upkeep for the Asia – Pacific regional security and stability not only that interests and wellbeing of the people of both countries will be brought forward.

He reportedly stressed that bilateral relations in politics, trade, economy, military, technology, cooperation in humanitarian works and other fields were effectively conducted.

Similarly, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing sent a message back to Russian President Putin to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Senior General's message stated that despite hostile changes in the international plots, the friendship and partnership between Myanmar and Russia continue to be warm and close.

In his message, the SAC President added that Myanmar always regards Russia as an important and reliable partner, and especially, Russia always supported Myanmar in difficult times on the international role.
The Commander-in-Chief added that 2023 is a time to shape a historical milestone in bilateral relations and re-invigorate the strength of binding.

As per information, Myanmar Consulate General offices will be opened in St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk in Russia soon. Myanmar-Russia diplomatic relations were established in 1948.
