Myanmar establishes diplomatic relations with Republic of Guinea-Bissau

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a press release on March 7 that Myanmar establishes a #new_diplomatic_relation with a west African country, Republic of #Guinea_Bissau.

The Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations was signed by Tin Maung Swe, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the People’s Republic of China and António Serifo Embaló, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau to the People’s Republic of China, on 6 March 2023 at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Beijing.

The MOFA stated that the Republic of Guinea-Bissau is the 126th country with which Myanmar has established diplomatic relations.
