Three Tatmadawmen dead during rescue works as wall collapsed in Sittwe

According to the statement released by the State Administration Council (SAC), three of the Tatmadaw rescue forces died in Sittwe by wall collapse while they were working rescue works.

The statement was released by the State-owned newspapers on May 16.

The Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Mocha left Myanmar flood, strong wind, heavy rain, landfall, and landslide.

Rescue forces of the Myanmar Military (Tatmadaw) and Fire Services Department, volunteers, and charity organizations working for clearing damages and streets in the cities.

During such rescue works, one military officer and two privates died on May 14 by wall collapse.
