‘No one can come in Russia-Myanmar military tie,’ Defence Minister

The Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San said that no one can come in and intervene in the Russia-Myanmar military cooperation.
He addressed it at the International Military and Technical Forum ARMY 2023 and XI Moscow Conference on International Security, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council (SAC).
The ceremony of unveiling statue of “Allies of Myanmar Warriors” was conducted on August 14 in Russia. Russian Defence Minister Army General Sergey Shoigu and Myanmar Defence Minister Admiral Tin Aung San attended it.
Admiral Tin Aung San said that the statue is the emblem of the relationship of the two countries’ in defence and culture. What is more, no one can ruin the military tie of the two countries which, he believes, will continue standing as the strategic partners.
The Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San also met with the Deputy Minister for Defence of Russian Federation and discussed cooperation between military and technology and sending apprentices to Russia. What is more, he also met with the weapon manufacturers in his trip.
