Government announces 14 tour destinations for domestic and foreign travelers

On September 21, the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism announced a total of 14 travel destinations that should be visited by domestic and foreign tourists as a priority.
The ministry has released the priority travel destinations to visit in order to enjoy the historical pagodas, stupas, ancient buildings, and the natural beauty of the forest and land, which are famous for ancient cultural heritages in Myanmar.
In the list, Naypyidaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, Ngwe Saung, Chaung Thar, Ngapali, Pyin-Oo-Lwin, Inle Lake, Kalaw and Tanunggyi, Kawtoung, Kyaukphyu, Munaung and Putao were included as per the statement.
Potential visitors can visit and check about the destinations on two websites of the MOHT - www.tourism.gov.mm and www.tourisminmyanmar.com for more information.
In addition, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee informed that there are 38 tourist destinations in Naypyidaw for the visitors.
