Chinese ambassador discloses plans for developing Belt and Road together between Myanmar-China

Chinese ambassador revealed the detailed plans for building “Belt and Road” together by Myanmar-China according to the statement released by the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar held a conference on constructing "Building the China-Myanmar Belt and Road and Sharing Development and Prosperity each other" in Yangon on October 26.
During the meeting, Chinese ambassador to Myanmar, Mr. Chen Hai said that Myanmar is a country along the "Belt and Road" and is an active participant and beneficiary of cooperation. The construction of the China-Myanmar "Belt and Road" and economic corridor will promote the peace and development of Myanmar and benefit the entire public.
The plans are to promote policy coordination including to promote interconnection for the construction of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, and taking new steps for major projects such as ports and railways.
Similarly, to promote the socio-economic development and to use the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund to develop public benefit projects in the sectors of agriculture, health, and education, and to assist relieve the "problem of need for electricity" in Myanmar.
In addition, promoting currency integration, to develop cross-border payments in Yuan, and support people-to-people exchanges were also taken account.
By resuming the use of travel permits at the relevant border gates, and starting the pilot operation of traveling with passports will facilitate people's traveling.
As per report, Myanmar and China are jointly operating cross-border crimes such as online scamming, and will create a clean environment for the joint construction of the "Belt and Road".
