Myanmar’s northeast situations discussed by Army Chief, PRC’s State Councillor

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received member of the Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee State Councillor of the People’s Republic of China and Minister of Public Security Mr. Wang Xiaohong on 31st October in Naypyidaw.
They held a talk on attacks of MNDAA insurgents on security camps in northeast part of Myanmar with attempts to deteriorate peace and stability in the region and bilateral cooperation measures.
According to the news released by the State Administration Council (SAC), the two countries are regarded as trustful neighbours for each other.
They also discussed plans to take action against lawbreakers involved in online gambling, fraudulent communications, narcotic drugs production, and trafficking in the Laukkai region of Shan State through Myanmar-China bilateral cooperation.
They also conducted discussions regarding the MNDAA insurgents' attacks on security camps in the northeast region of Myanmar, with the aim of destabilizing peace and stability in the area.
The discussion also involves to establish joint security entities to enhance law and order and border security.
Currently, there have been intense armed clashes at security outposts between the Myanmar Military and the three insurgent groups led by MNDAA in Northern Shan State since October 27th.
