SAC Chairman, Pakistani Ambassador discuss bilateral collaboration across various sectors including defense

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) and Pakistani Ambassador to Myanmar held a discussion on the better collaboration in defense sector, according to the SAC.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials of Pakistani Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Imran Haider on 8 May.

After that, they discussed all aspects of bilateral relations, including diplomacy, defense, education, culture, industry, agriculture, tourism, and intergovernmental cooperation.

During the meeting, they also warmly discussed opportunities for collaboration in textile industries and pharmaceutical manufacturing, bilateral trade promotion, and plans to foster friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe met with
Pakistani Ambassador Mr. Imran Hyder at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Naypyidaw on the same day.

They discussed the further advancement of bilateral relations and promotion and expansion of cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, agriculture, and industry between Myanmar and Pakistan.
